Our People

The Team Behind the Mission.

Our team brings together clinical expertise, community roots, and lived experience — united by one conviction: no Liberian should suffer alone.

Our Founder

Born and raised in Liberia, Reuben witnessed firsthand the devastation of untreated mental illness — neighbours chained because families had no other answer, women with nowhere to turn, children falling through every crack in a system that barely existed.

Rather than accept this as inevitable, Reuben asked: What if the phone in every Liberian's pocket could become their first step toward healing? From that question, L2SLiberia was born.

He brings deep roots in Liberian communities, expertise in psychosocial programming and GBV response, and an unwavering moral clarity about who is most left behind — and why that must change.

“I started this because I was tired of being asked to mourn what could have been prevented.”

— Reuben Reeves, Founder & Executive Director
